I think this is my period?

Sounds like it to me!! I didn't start to get cramps till about a year after I started, so it may be even if you dont get cramps. Take note of when this started so you know when your next period should be. Discharge is usually a whitish colour. Also, if the blood starts to smell like iron, it's definatly your period. Nothing to be confused about, just make sure to carry some pads around.
