Ever read chaucer or Shakespear? it's hardly any type of English you would recognise. You're confusing pronounced English with regional dialect. The fella had a regional dialect, so what. Not to be confused with an accent. An accent is how the other person percives what they hear, a dialect is how two parties from the same area converse. Then again common language and it's usage is paramount to communication.
