Musk turtles basking?

hey, i no musk turtles are aquatic turtles and spend most the time in the water. i have red lots of different people say they have never even seen the musk come completely out the water and bask. well i have two musks and one of them ive seen bask a little but hes always swimming around the tank look for food normall. on the other hand the other one spends most of its day under my uv light basking and even when my uv light ain't on hes there. ive herd that it could be because of illness and symptoms are like puss in his eyes and stuff but he is fine and he eats fine everything. the other reason cud be because hes getting bullied? well my other one is alot smaller and i would say younger but there both quite young and i havent seen them fighting or the other one bullying him. there fine together. whenever food is in the tank he hops in and eats swims around for a while and then goes back to basking. everything seems normall accept he basks alot. and im only thinking about asking people because i don't know alot about them to be fair but they seem happy and healthy.he seems to get dried out which is y im asking because i worry so i put him back in the water. seeings there aquatic i don't fink he should be all dry. so anyone know if anything could be wrong? even though everything seems fine otherwise? or isit his personality that he likes to bask around?
